Annapolis resident Glenn Anthony Atkins, 64, is facing multiple charges following trespassing incidents that were reported on consecutive days, according to officials from the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The strange week began at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday, May 1, when officers were called to investigate an allegedly intoxicated man outside the Anne Arundel Medical Center on Medical Parkway in Annapolis.

According to police, Atkins was wearing an FBI hat and had a gold-colored badge hanging from his neck, claiming that he was an ATF agent, though he was unable to explain further or provide any law enforcement credentials.

It is further alleged that Atkins exposed himself while urinating near the roadway. He was arrested, charged, and later released after weapons were confiscated from him.

He wasn’t done yet.

Police say that the following day, at approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, officers were again called to the Anne Arundel Medical Center for a reported firearms violator and trespasser.

According to security, once detained, Atkins declared that he was there to shoot another member of the detail, though No shots were ultimately fired.

Atkins was taken into custody without incident and “charged accordingly” on firearm and trespassing, and other related offenses. No return court date has been announced.
